The EHRI Fellows of 2014

Starting in the summer of 2015, EHRI has a new fellowship programme (read more about the programme >> ). Between 2012-2014, after a call for applications, every year twelve researchers were invited to stay for a period of four weeks to two months at an EHRI partner institute. In 2014, EHRI was able to offer additional positions. The EHRI fellowships are intended to support and stimulate Holocaust research by facilitating international access to key archives and collections related to the Holocaust.
The first call for applications for 2014 was issued in the summer of 2013 and circulated widely. Overall 40 applicants from 12 countries applied for an EHRI fellowship. An international panel of experts selected the fellows on the basis of their research programmes. Experts included Prof. Dr. Barbara Engelking-Boni (IFiS PAN, Warsaw, Poland), Prof. Benjamin Frommer PhD (Northwestern University, IL, USA), Dr. Christoph Dieckmann (Keele University, UK), Prof. Renée Poznanski (Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Israel) and Prof. Alan E. Steinweis PhD (University of Vermont, USA).
These were the 19 EHRI Fellows for 2014:
